1. Was ist 925er Sterlingsilber?
Sterlingsilber, auch 925er Sterlingsilber genannt, ist eine Metalllegierung, die für Schmuck und dekorative Haushaltsgegenstände verwendet wird. Traditionell besteht es zu 92,5 % aus Silber (Ag) und zu 7,5 % aus Kupfer (Cu). Gelegentlich machen andere Metalle 7,5 % aus, aber die 925-Punze weist immer auf eine Silberreinheit von 92,5 % hin.
